Christmas market review: Southbank, London

What's the curbappeal?
- atmospheric 'German style' Christmas market. Buy arts and crafts gifts from cute wooden chalets. Or visit the food stalls for bratwurst, hot chocolate or mulled wine.

With love,
Ms. Curbappeal x

Cafe review: Le Pain Quotidien, Southbank, London

What's the curbappeal?
- contemporary farmhouse styling (large wooden communal tables)
- French cafe dining: lovely coffee, croissants and baguettes. I had a silky smooth latte (note they don't do 'skinny's ' here). And a buttery melt-in-your-mouth croissant with ham and gruyere cheese. Lovely!
- The Southbank is an atmospheric place to wander around. Especially at Christmas with the Christmas market.

With love,
Ms. Curbappeal x

Hotel Review: The Augustine, Prague, Czech Republic.

What's the Curbappeal?:
- historic building with modern luxurious interior
- centrally located to explore the sights of Prague
- cool bar to hang-out in

Recommended?: yes, but ask for a quiet room, as the tram-line passes by some rooms (ie mine).

View from my room.

V cool hotel bar.

My room. Nice big comfy bed.

Beautiful marble bathroom, with small flat-screen TV by the bath.

Delicious in-room breakfast.

Light and airy restaurant,

Restaurant Review: Julie's Holland Park, London

What's the Curbappeal?:
- chic neighbourhood restaurant that oozes history and glamour
- beautiful discreet collection of differently decorated dining areas
- outlook onto pretty little square, reminiscent of Italy
- probably the friendliest (and best) service ever received in a London restaurant

Recommended: yes, most definitely.

Beautiful outlook.

Delicious brunch.

Tasty cappuccino.

One of the dining areas on the ground floor.

One of the upstairs dining areas.

Another very different dining area...

Basement bar (and dining area). Would love to return on a winters evening.

A beautiful intimate dining area.

Date of visit: Saturday in November 2013, for brunch.
