Bar Review: Franks (summer pop-up), Peckham, London
What's the Curbappeal?
- unique setting on the top level of a multi-storey car park (sounds random but it really works!)
- amazing views across London (Emirates Air Line cable car, O2 arena, Canary Wharf, The Shard, St Paul's...you get the idea)
- relaxed sociable vibe
- creative crowd
Pub review: The Rye, Peckham, London
What's it's Curbappeal?:
- old world charm
- relaxed crowd
Food rating: tasty food at reasonable prices
Some photos straight from my iphone...

Spotted: cool bar in Peckham, London
Peckham Springs...a bar set amidst two railway lines. Only open Fridays & Saturdays. Will be back to check it out!
Time spotted: a Saturday night in July 2013.
Restaurant review : Balthazar, london
What's the curbappeal?
- the classic European brasserie interior: art deco lights, brass fixings, red booth seats and tiled floor.
- the dilemma? London already has lots of similar restaurants and they're excellent: the Wolseley, the Delaunay and Colbert (to name a few) are my favourites.
- does it live up to the hype? Unfortunately not, the interior feels overly-contrived and the quality of the food is average to poor. I had to send back my flat white because the coffee was burnt. My poached eggs were just OK (quite watery in texture if I'm being critical).
Sorry but I won't be back
With love,
Ms. Curbappeal x
