Coffee shop : The Fields Below, Kentish Town, London

I stopped by for a cappuccino (was pretty good). More of a take-out than a 'dine in' cafe, which created a bit of an odd atmosphere. Located right by Kentish Town West overground station, this tiny hipster cafe seemed by far the nicest in the area.

Time of visit: Lunchtime on Friday, May 2014.

Dinner at Cristal Room Baccarat, Paris, France

This was genuinely one of the grandest and most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. It felt incredibly exclusive, with a well dressed Parisian elite crowd.

Red carpet engarved with (what looked like) little crystals marks the pathway through this grand old building up to the restaurant

Loved drinking from the luxurious Baccarat glasses.

The washrooms were simply amazing. Mirrors and chandeliers everywhere. Stunning.

Taking a look around the Baccarat museum, after dinner.. set in a series of beautiful grand rooms across the hall from the restaurant.

Breakfast at The Park Hyatt, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Breakfast buffet at The Park Hyatt. Highly recommended. Excellent quality food and service in a beautiful relaxed light and airy restaurant.

Light and airy dining room, makes this a great dining option for a rainy day (as we had during our stay !)

Fruit and cakes - feels like a Brazilian breakfast!

Delicious wide selection of fresh fruits.

Beautiful view of the Palace (guest rooms and restaurants also in that part of the hotel).

Saturday night at The Lamb at Hindon, Hindon, Salisbury, UK

Signature Boisdale style (dark red walls) thoroughout the pub and dining rooms

Very tasty dinner

Just woken up and peering out of the window (that's Poppy my Chihuahua)

Ready to browse the Sunday papers with a nice breakfast

Delicious Full English breakfast, highly recommended (don't bother with the (average) buffet, go straight for the cooked breakfast)

Having a wander round Hindon, such a quaint village with a lovely little village shop and church

Warming up by the huge log fire after the walk
