- One of my firm favourites in blackheath (check out my previous blogs)
- a winning combination of: fantastic coffee, lovely food (deli-style) and cosy interior (and exterior) design.

Cafe review: Hand Made Food, Blackheath Village, London

What's the curbappeal?
- gorgeous shabby-chic cafe
- its drool-worthy, hand made, produce

I stopped by for a post-night-out boost: think bacon sandwich (thick white bread; premium bacon; organic tomato sauce) and, a heavenly flat white. Yum!

My only gripe? Service can be very slow on weekends, as they get incredibly busy, dealing with the local hipsters. But I love you guys so I'll let it slide :)

With love,
Ms. Curbappeal x

Restaurant review: Chapters, Blackheath Village, London

What's the curbappeal?
- the patio occupies an enviable location: overlooking Blackheath Village, it's gorgeous Church and the 'heath itself.
- the vibe: stylish yet unpretentious. Buzzy (I recommend booking, especially on weekends).
- the cuisine: All day dining - comfort food, as well as healthy options.

While we only popped in for a light one course lunch, it was all cooked incredibly well. My mackerel was full of flavour and came with a lovely straight-from-the-barbecue crust. My Sauvignon was light and very more-ish. The wine list was excellent.

With love,
Ms. Curbappeal x

Around town: Blackheath, London - 14 Oct 2012

It's Curbappeal:
- quaint village just a stones throw from central London: think quirky coffee shops, one-off boutiques and atmospheric restaurants. Fantastic Heath to walk off lunch.

Cafe review: Boulangerie Jade, Blackheath, London.Lunch. Sunday 13th October 2012.

It's Curbappeal:
- great setting in central blackheath, with tables outside allowing diners to take in the loveliness of Blackheath
- wide selection of delicious fresh cakes & pastries

Crowd: blackheath locals

Food & drink rating: we had quite tasty tuna salad baguette & a slice of banana & chocolate loaf - so delicious we gobbled it up before we had a chance to photograph it!

The bill: fair

Anything we didn't like: could do with getting a bathroom for diners

Recommended: Yes. Go for an outdoor table to soak up the autumn sun & take in the laid-back vibe of Blackheath
