Venue: Burger and Lobster, Soho, London
What's the curbappeal?
- based on the company's website, the design looks to be hipster. Albeit at the classier end of the spectrum: think sassy red leather booths paired with the obligatory bare lightbulbs and wooden flooring.
- cuisine: the name says it all! I hear good things about the drinks menu which is segregated by what you're eating I.e. burger or lobster.
Yet to visit - will report back

London Restaurant review: lovely pre-theatre option
Venue: Quo Vadis, Soho, London
What's the curbappeal?
- old school vibe : charming and very British interior
- permanently buzzy environment : this is a stalwart on the London pre-theatre restaurant scene
- the food : I went for the pre-theatre set menu. Crab soup starter (nice and piquant, tasty); lamb onglet (tender, lovely herb 'crust', full of flavour) with a side order of fluffy chips; hazelnut cake with red wine pear (quite simply - YUM). Followed by a double espresso to wake me up before heading to soho theatre next door ;)
Recommended.

Boutique hotel review : Dar Nanka, Marrakech, Morocco
What's the Curbappeal?
- A tastefully decorated contemporary mansion: very residential feel. Far far removed from usual hotel atmosphere

- Hip young vibe: uplifting Moroccan and global chill music
- Manicured grounds: Full of birdsong
- The spa: words fail me... absolutely gorgeous high-end interior
