Just spotted : Gaucho, Pop-up bar, Canary Wharf, London

What's the curbappeal?
- blingtastic pop-up bar. With lots of high-end outdoor furniture, in pink and white. Think modernist egg chairs, colourful deck chairs and comfy sofas in VIP cabins
- located above Gaucho's steak restaurant in Canary Wharf.
- fabulous views of the City skyline and Thames
- a perfect place to unwind with some fizz. I must try it out, before it pops-off!

With love,
Ms. Curbappeal X

Travel photos: Hotel - Amanjena, Marrakech

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Amanjena. My reviews of the hotel and its facilities
(restaurants, bar, spa, villas and private dining) will follow soon. But, in the meanwhile please find some of my photographs:

Inspiration - cafes : Chelsea, London

I need to try out both of these. Two very different places. Certainly heard good things of Blakes.

- Blakes hotel: whimsical and gloriously fabulous boutique hotel. Pop in for coffee in the court yard.

- Chelsea quarter cafe: bright and bushy-tailed contemporary cafe

Inspiration - cafes : Pimlico, London

Two excellent cafes on Elizabeth Street, Pimlico (a good street for foodies fyi):

- TomTom: hipster-vintage cafe. Unusual style for area (posh).

- Peggy Porschen: stunning. V pink. V girly. High-end foodie heaven.

Restaurant review: Cecconi's, Mayfair, London

What's the curbappeal?
- its old school, but glamourous : first established in 1978 by Enzo Cecconi, Manager of the Cipriani hotel in Venice, it's now part of the uber-hip Soho House Group. The interior harks back to a more decadent era: think 1920's style lamps and club chairs and elegantly distressed mirrors.
- permanently buzzy environment : a stalwart for the jet-set
- the food: Northern-Italian. And very good indeed.

Recommended.

With Love,
Ms. Curbappeal x
