Around town : Seville (Plaza de Espana), Spain

Beautiful architecture set amidst huge gardens. The Plaza itself is reminiscent of Venice.

The surrounding gardens/park....

Time of visit: Friday in May 2014.

Hotel : Palacio de Villapanes, Seville, Spain.

The front exterior of the hotel.

The central courtyard, creates a beautiful tranquil feeling the moment you step into the Palace.

The outside bar/little courtyard.

Enjoying a mojitio in the shady courtyard at the back of the palace.

Delicious breakfasts served until 11.30am - especially good for those who like to sleep-in on vacation.

Looking down into the central courtyard.

Bar area.

Super comfy mattress and pillows.

View from room 301.

Pizza at El Cuartito, Recoleta, Buenos Aires, Argentina

We had the most delicious deep filled cheesy pizzas at this Buenos Aires institution. Highly recommended. Crowd: largely locals with a few tourists.

Time of visit: Saturday lunchtime, April 2014.

Hotel and restaurant review: The Old Parsonage, Oxford, UK

What's the curbappeal?
- delightful restaurant tucked away from the tourist crowds. Gorgeous old world exterior and interior.

I stayed here en route to the Cotswolds from London, to break up the journey. The rooms are very expensive (£300ish per night) for what you get, and the interior design wasn't to my liking, so I wouldn't recommend staying. But the restaurant is too beautiful to ignore, as is the food...

With love,
Ms. Curbappeal x
